Irritating MRT ads

For as far as I can remember, MRT ads were in the form of neat banners. Today, these promotion mechanics appear on glass dividers, cabin ceilings, cabin floorings, windows and even hang around the hand rail. During this transformation, I can't help but feel irritated. A mode of transport that was once clean and fresh to meet everyday has appeared to me as an untidy and unpleasant appearance.

Lookout windows today are masked with ad patches, making it difficult for commuters to view station names or landmarks easily. Having most of the sunlight blocked out, do you find that cabins seem darker too?

As i have learnt from people around me, such experience is mutual. What many might not have noticed yet, is the new form of train advertisements - audio.

Can you imagine hearing this for all stops? Well, I got them in my ears for more than ten times in just a single trip. A new experience awaits you.
